Hi Snoopy so thats just at the generic auction AUDA ran? Domain only .. no website etc?

Yes that's domain only - when first released by auDA.

Cars.com.au got $141,000 too.

where is the full list of domains from that sale??

Not sure there is one.... would be great to see. Couldn't find anything though.

Oh and poker.com.au is still the biggest official aftermarket domain sale. Ie from one entity to another...

Yes, these were names that had never been released before. I think concrete.com.au got a pretty hefty sum at that auction as well, I don't think it was 6 figures though (might be been around 50k.)

Some more details of that auction here,

http://www.domainstate.com/industry-news-6/generic-com-au-domains-rollout-406.html

flowers.com.au $153,000
cars.com.au $141,000
computers.com.au $50,000
concrete.com.au $50,000
beer.com.au $25,000

Nice find - shame the other results which seemingly were at this URL http://www.whatsinaname.com.au/generic/ are no longer there.

Will we ever know the full results? Perhaps it's better that way - I'd imagine most on this board would be green with envy at the buying opportunities.

Anyway back on topic - Electricity.com.au at $13,184 on NF and $11,000 on Drop.com.au

Big $$$ with 45mins to go based on past history...

Any thoughts on this?

if electricity.com.au sells for $20,000 is it really worth it? Or would you make more money and have a bigger business with more opportunities going and registering 1000 names at $20 each? ... Yes I know lots of one word and two word generics are gone but couldnt you go and find 1000 new good registrations and be better off?

Wow, thats awesome! $37,000. My guess was around $20,000 (not that I'm a domainer or anything) :)

So does Netfleet normally beat Drop to domains or does it go by highest bid?
