Not sure who won it but i know there is a trademark pending for the term 'Black Caviar' so unless they are using it to sell fish eggs id be very worried the rightful owners will end up with it anyways.

I reckon thats bad system design, the auction should be extending if two people have the same bid.

Maybe he had a higher proxy bid, but your bid pushed his to match yours.

Unless you bid higher, you really have nothing to be upset about.

Extending would be out of the equation though as the domains are dropped from the register only a few minutes after the auctions close.
