I got just one of these for one of my premium domains which might have also been owned by OMG in the past, I filed a support ticket and they said they warned the owner of the account not to do it again. Downside is that you can't implement domain locks for AU domains like you can for other domains so if you weren't paying attention or actually using their service could have accidentally clicked the link.

I think it needs more than a warning? This spam is going out to lot's of people..Uniregistry needs to close their account and advise auDA who they are.

We had it happen to a customer of ours in mid Dec 2017 so I took my concerns to auDA and after providing the headers to the email they investigated and have advised me that a software update is in the pipeline at to ensure that they collect and check the authcode before sending these emails. The fix was due end Jan 2018 so hopefully no one gets emails like this again.
