Seems to be getting more common for companies to be willing to pay a premium for typo .com's. I would guess the company is going to brand with it rather than it being a mistake.

Great name, shorter and better, they are ready to export with it aswell.
No red tape, no .au issues, no risk of random deletion by someone on a gold throne.

Was reported a couple of days ago that their competitor comparethemarket.com bought Meerkat.com, money far better spent. I wonder how much money they blew on those tlds, half a million? more?

The article also mentioned Iselect, I cannot recall see that extension anywhere? In fact I hardly recall seeing Iselect anywhere lately
