I try to keep my chin up by I do get a bit teary when I see so many of my hard earned dollars going down the drain

Learning in the school of hard knocks ain't cheap and but the lesson that are remembered best are the ones where you had skin in the game...

We've all made bad investments... in the last 12 months alone I've dropped over 100 domains from my portfolio - that's $2000+ of sunk costs... it's the nature of the game.

The famous Einstein quote is "anyone who has never made a mistake has not tried anything new."

I've heard the term "flearn" used a bit lately, referring to fail+learn. The idea is to fail quickly and learn why. I've got the first part down pat so I'm half way there

Well the next part of that equation is fheap - fail cheap.



If you fail quickly AND cheaply, you get all the important experience without wiping yourself out... that's the real secret.

i try to flearn as cheaply as i can. educated gambles i call them.

policies are also good,
"no hand registrations after 2 beers ! " , " don't drink and reg ", "if its available on hand reg its most likely available tommorrow", " actually have a plan what you are going to do with it", "stick within your scope of knowledge "
