Hard to see how laferrari will be worth much because they are only making 400 of them globally and they will be lucky to even get 1 or 2 in Australia imo.

As Tim said they could try and get you on the partial match trademark breach, hard to say if it will hold up im not a lawyer.

I guess you could get by it by saying you were running it as a "fan" site or something, if it was making traffic and some one made an offer why not take it?

I think in a way i bought it cause its really big passion of mind ive work selling cars for 8 years and been lucky enough to sell some of these. And i dont want to sell it to some random thats just wants to make profit or sell it for more where if that was the case i would rather give it to ferrari. The way i see it is this is my ferrari as i cant afford one myself lol. When i emailed them i did tell them it was a fan page and there would be no advertising on thr page nor anything shop or anything maybe thats why i havent heard back from them.

Agree James, the marketing plan would include which countries to focus on, and the ROI. A strong global site, will be worth much more to them than a geo based site, with low traffic % from only 20 million people.

A quick web search shows they are dominating on many channels not only with their megga site ferrari . com.

If you have built a massive brand like Ferrari then why bother creating niche sites for your individual brands such as Ferrari 458 or LaFerrari.

Furthmore any fansites can go their hardest, and not even get close.
