If we blocked the registration of this name, registrants will just wonder off to the next registrar or reseller to make the same mistake again and again. This list belongs to auDA and they need to implement the technology to block these types of registrations at the Registry. That way ALL the registrars and ALL the resellers and ALL the registrants are stopped from making this mistake by one piece of technology.

I happen to believe that there are reasons why this name should not be on the misspelling list like plumbers selling u tubes but my fundamental frustration as a developer of registrar systems is that this list is not enforced by the Registry or even provided by the registry via the EPP interface.

i agree, it all falls back to the auda.

i have a saying " i don't care what the rules of the game are as long as i know them, then i'll decide if i want to play"

Some good domains dropping today!

What are your thoughts on them?

Already some healthy bids 2.5k on one domain

A very healthy day on the drops for Netfleet. They picked up everything I think? Including of course the biggie:

HomeLoanCalculator.com.au - $33,001

Did Drop have a problem today? I didn't see them win anything?

If anyone here is silly enough to bid on weebly today, there is a trademark application already submitted for it by weebly inc.

so we could further deduce that its actually NOT 2 years ago but 4 years ago ! because then it will be 4 days past the leap year and thus it woud have been 4 years ago as each day of the week moves forward 1 day each year.

which also means if you buy a calendar now it will be correct in 7 years (subject to leap years

Did anyone get caught with the closing time of the drops today (with daylight saving finishing)?

Yes. :/

I don't get why they don't just adjust the time by half an hour and be done with this whole DST thing.
