Drops today - February 2013

One thing I've noticed with DNT members is how many different ways there are to skin a cat. There are lots of people doing very well in lots of different areas. Quite a few very successful members may not post much but they do know their stuff.

Please remember DNTrade rule 3:

SHOW RESPECT - While debate and discussion is fine, please remember to treat fellow members in a respectful, civilised and adult manner. Members should respect and adhere to the promotion of harmony within the community. While DNT encourages free speech, disruption of the harmony is not good!

Different opinions are encouraged, just make sure it's done with respect.

Especially with newcomers, DNT can be an intimidating place. It's important that we try and encourage each other and hopefully share the lessons learned. We've all got a common interest, let's get this discussion back on a positive track.

Cheers,
Chris

Thought I'd share not bad one that's dropping today - Memory.com.au. Could be interesting with multiple uses (e.g computer memory, psychology memory, memorial site etc.). Not a bad keyword either (2,900 local exacts). Curious to know if anyone has any guesses to what it might go for?

maybe not as much as you think, unlike 'doors' it is a bit vague in its usage

I know it was not overly commercial, was just curious. Saw it went for $401 at Netfleet :)

nice name, fair price, but it needs branding as its very loose in what its about, a lot of visits/searches would bounce.

heaps of possible uses though

I did think maybe in the higher 3 figures but wasn't too sure :)

thats why you watch the drops every day so you see the how it surpises you , some names go for heaps and some get picked up for $10, and even nice names just don't even get a bid.

I agree. I do watch them every now and then, starting to get back into it. It is pretty interesting analysing what people do and don't bid for.

Interesting price difference between Netfleet and Drop yesterday for efd.com.au. Was caught at Drop for $9 and top bid at Netfleet was $180. As Ned says, pays to be on both :)
