Hey Lemon, it hasn't been swept under the table at all. It was decided that this would be evaluated when the registry tender was up, which is 2017. There were complexities in implementing variable terms during the existing Registry agreement. I like the idea of the variable terms, having been a member of the 2010 Names Policy Panel.The 2010 Names Policy Panel recommended that the 2 year fixed policy should be changed. The board decided to hold a decision until the costs and technical issues were looked into. Doesn't seem to be any mention of it since then and seems to have been swept under the table.
