When auDA made their submission to the government, a functional constituency model was one of 4 models proposed.
In the upcoming forum they have steered the discussion to 2 functional constituency models out of three possible models.
The cabal in charge want to continue to exercise effective control via a functional constituency model.
Let the people make the big decisions not vested interest groups compromised by back room power sharing arrangements.
We should stop the politicisation of this public asset by adopting a variant of the Canadian model.

Essentially politics will rule. A single membership system will allow members to vote more freely without interference.
Imagine a Eurovision contest where the best performance was allowed to win.

Agree, the CMWG is run by Cameron Boardman (not members) and auDA's board has reportedly stacked the membership with 500+ fake foreign members. They still reuse to update the membership list because they know what they have done is highly unethical. Let's see if the try to make it to the SGM without updating that list.
Members need to now work together to remove the management who have attempted to remove the membership base and push through their own self serving reforms (increased directors fees, changing membership procedure to to stack and save their jobs, capturing most of the cost of a domain for themselves).
