The rising popularity of .Com in Australia

I once read that we all have a great idea in our lifetime, problem is that because we cannot act on them immediately we talk ourself out of the idea. To instantly secure your brand/url without delay would be a big bonus indeed.

Yep, this is what the students, the mums, the dads want. Whilst Tim may choose to disagree more and more are going for the simplicity of .com.

I think members know this.

But many directors do want to remove members who seek to reform AUDA, this is now the second attempt. They also wish to prevent Ned from joining the board. Nicole has a lot of trouble getting her application approved and it sounds like she still may not be able to vote.

"Maybe the last straw was Nicole Murdoch's letter of complaint to the Minister about being disenfranchised as an auDA member."

Actually if you look at that profile all four web address are .com's, the personal one and the three business ones. AUDA needs to wake up to what is happening on the street.

.com.au is going to be the 2nd choice for more and more people if AUDA keeps the blinkers on.

David besides pulling information off from other people's domain name feeds or domain name related stories and compiling it on your own websites as some form of domain name news let me ask you;
  1. What is your actual Supply class domain name experience. For what domain name extensions?
  2. What is your Demand experience? For what domain name extensions?
  3. How many .com, .sg, .hk, .uk, .nz, .com.au .net names have you ever registered yourself?
  4. How much did auDA pay you over the years? Why did thy cancel this arrangement after so long?
  5. How much is Ausregistry paying you now? Do you feel any conflict of interest how you write here or in other places? Where are your disclosures?
  6. Why do you refuse to answers Snoopy's valid questions and instead turn to some form of childish put down? Do you not know Snoopy's domain name portfolio, income from it and years of domain name industry real experience in the game not on the bench as an "outsider" watcher reporting it ( in limited capacity so not to affect or upset organisations who pay you perhaps?)
Why would I give you details of contracts/agreements I have had with clients over the years? Why would I engage in serious discussions when those asking the questions have no intent of serious engagement? Domain Pulse has nothing to do with auDA. Never has. Even when auDA was a client. Never will.

Let's have some "serious engagement":

Why do you not use DomainPulse.com.au also even as a redirect to your .com?
Where is your active use and support for the .au namespace by using it?
Why do you choose and only use the .com?

This highlights some points Snoopy has made about .com and .com.au usage you yourself seem to be a prime example of.

Domain Pulse is not aimed at an Australian audience.
