I'd enjoy catching up at different venues around town, it keeps things interesting.
Any thoughts on a possible venue and date?time to book a get together?

Is beer at a reasonable price ? No-one seems to be adding anything to this so perhaps we aim for 2-3 weeks from now, might be worth mentioning we can't expect Chris to pay for a meetup drinks and snacks.I like the Duke Of Wellington cnr Flinders & Russell St
Sounds good. Do you have a specific date in mind?i think the pub down from diksteins is best, the after work rush clears pretty quick mid week.
Maybe Frank Schilling will sponsor the night if you agree to wear a Uniregistry capwe can't expect Chris to pay for a meetup drinks and snacks.

I don't mind the Mitre Tavern either, I am voting for a wednesday 19th rocktobera burger is $22 and there doesn't appear to be beer taps, so i'm guessing $7 bottle of breu fron xie at 330ml

The thing is, there are a few pubs in very close proximity, who says we need stay at one place! You would be surprised what Young and Jacksons is like these days, roomy and cheap and across the road from Flinders Sreet station, food for thought
