You may want to tread carefully in this area.
As far as I am aware, the Interactive Gambling Act (IGA), passed in June 2001, made it an offense to advertise an interactive gambling service or product - the advertising ban extended across all forms of media (from electronic to print).

Yeah I would tread carefully.
Back int eh late 90's and early 2000's I worked with a lot of peeps in the adult and gambling arena online. Certain speed bumps with adult stuff were easy to get around with offshore hosting etc, but gambling was a nightmare. (From memory the only gambling sites the guys had running were in Cabo, and for good reason...)
It was nearly impossible to do anything gambling related online in .au - unless you actually owned a physical casino.
Definitely been too long out of the loop, but legal advice is the only real way you'll go forward.

Australia stands to rake in the dollars if it relaxes online gambling restrictions, a new report suggests.
Australians spent about $790 million playing poker and other casino games through offshore websites in 2008 - and the global market is set to almost double by 2012.
The estimate gives weight to calls for Australia to rethink its prohibition of online gambling, the report by international accounting giant KPMG says.
There's a wealth of revenue to be made if Australia can shape and expand the market, which is set to explode given technological advances in mobile phones and other devices.
"It is an underground economy that could become authorised with a sustained period of re-regulation and expand significantly," KPMG's Anthony Travers said in a statement.
The KPMG report Online Gaming: A Gamble or a Sure Bet? projected the global market was likely to expand by 42 per cent to more than $32 billion by 2012.
Australia could harness the money spent on offshore websites if it relaxed restrictions, something other governments, including the United States, have been working towards.
A federal Productivity Commission draft report has recommended the government consider regulated access to local gaming sites, rather than all-out prohibition.
The commission's final report has yet to be released.

I haven't spent a whole bunch of time reading through it but "excluded" activities include Sports Betting and Lotteries/Keno.
My personal interpretation of the intention of the moratorium and subsequent act was that it was mainly designed to quash the introduction of online casinos - however I could be wrong, I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.
