Hi,

Any thoughts on this one, it seemed like a good idea based on the results from Estibot. Valued on there at $1200 AUD, but it was the stats i found more interesting and especially the CPC is high.

Average Monthly Search Stats - Broad Match - software document
Monthly Searches: 300,120
Cost Per Click: $13.22 AUD
Ad Competition: medium
Data Age: Recent

Average Monthly Search Stats - Exact Match - [software document]
Monthly Searches: 134
Cost Per Click: $12.65 AUD
Ad Competition: high
Data Age: Recent

Is this term something that you've ever heard someone say?
Stop buying based on stats and start buying terms that people actually use and terms that businesses use to describe who they are or what they sell.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but based on your domains posted in the forum, I suggest that you hold off on buying for a while, and take some time to learn what constitutes a good investment. We've all bought rubbish in the past, but it's in your interests to limit the expense of your learning curve.

Its never to harsh when you providing advice, and I'll take on board what you say, I guess the hard part is I already have 800 plus domains.

That's the relevant stats to look at, and monthly searches of 134 is very poor. I think your term related to documentation for those that write software, which is obviously not a popular topic.
Broad Match search stats are high because Software ranks high...which is hardly relevant to your term.
I hope you've bought your 800 via hand-regs or expired domains, not paid big $$$ from auctions?

I've not paid more than $11.99 for over 600 of the domains, others at $39.99 and a couple at $300 - $500 but those are being developed with businesses already in operation. 90% have been purchased through expiring domains.

I guess the hard part is I already have 800 plus domains.

Based on the domains you've posted so far, and the fact that you have over 800, I would stop buying ASAP.

It's so easy to lose many thousands of dollars in this game. Many of us have been there. We think that we're smarter than those who have come before, and we've scooped up dozens (or hundreds...) of domains that no one else has thought of before.

The truth is no one registered them because they were, well, crap... Or maybe they have been registered a few times before, then dropped when the owners realised what they were doing (or just ran out of cash for renewals).

It's tough to admit you've gone down the wrong path, but the sooner you do something about it, the better off you'll be.

Listen to people on this forum. :)
