I was wondering if anyone has any "how to" domains, I recall recently seeing or reading that "how to" videos are some of the most popular on YouTube ........thoughts?

I don't own any "how to" domains specifically but I have had other do it yourself style domain in the past. I think it would need carful consideration on whether the domain has a commercial aspect. e.e howtoplaypoker.com has a clear commercial aspect whilst howtofixadoor.com is probably the opposite. I'd say avoid the ones where they are trying to get out of having to pay for something. Are they looking to spend or are they looking to "not spend"?
If you look at namebio.com there is 100 or so sales of this type of name, mainly ones with "commercial intent". Also most all of the sales are around the 2008-2013 period so I'd carefully consider whether these names are considered "long tail".

I was also thinking the crossover to youtube was interesting, perhaps the smart folk do a teaser video and have link/notification back to their site?

One of the bigger sales HowToGetaDivorce I can't get the site to resolve (maybe our internet) I was interested to see if a lawyer had a site up and running ?

Doesn't resolve for me either.
They are well out of favour. Wouldn't be paying renewals while waiting.

Not for me but HowToSpeculate/Com is waiting to be regged
I have a "how" name in the .net.au space but when I sat down to develop it I had a heart attack on just how much information could be put on the site. I didn't know where to start and couldn't see a finish line. As you have mentioned I was looking at youtube among other possible advertising revenue sources.

I do see many "how to' .com.au's are already gone, can't recall seeing any sites in the past
