Congrats on the purchases Martin, I tried to buy that domain for $10k of the previous owner years ago and he knocked me back.

His answer was it earns me revenue just parked.

I just find it very strange Don - as I mentioned previously, the previous domain owner is still around, and he's letting quality domains drop.

I thought about bidding higher than your bid, but decided to bid low.

Don't tell His Pigginess that - he'll claim he was right with his $10k guesstimate. :)

Debt Consolidation sector is an interesting one, have been talking to a few companies in that space recently some very interesting characters. Surprised Fox Symes didn't move for it yet it seems they are moving from a domains strategy to a more branded on. I know the head digital guy down their use to work with him in 2009.

Great purchase at the price you paid.

Thanks Don, I also remember approaching them "back in the day" to see if they were interested in selling, and they weren't. LOL, oh well their loss..Drop and Netfleet's gain. Glad I wasn't bidding against you this time :D

I agree James. They have been in contact with me in the past too.

tafecourses.com.au caught for $5,110 on netfleet, highest bid for it on drop was only $433.

Picked up by the same group that grabbed training.com.au

But why they don't cover their bids on Drop is beyond me.

If Drop had snapped it, they would have been very disappointed. And I would have been SO HAPPY! (Given I was the high bid on Drop).

Still, as a small consolation, I picked up the singular quite cheaply. Thanks Drop.

:)

tafecourses - seems like a more risky purchase considering the trademark on TAFE, TAFE NSW ect....

Thoughts?

There are quite a lot of trade marks using the term "TAFE" I don't think that in itself would be enough to cause any problems, all things being equal.
