well i started the month with grabbing 2 "double drops" handreg with both having a few hundred exacts each

nice names which fit nicely into my portfolio.

i took the risk of the $1 drop bid beating me but got lucky

its the benefit of sometimes not caring if you get it or not.

Lady luck smiled on me too. :)

Picked up loansforpensioners dot com au for $6 on Drop. Bidding was $301 on NF (not me).

1600 exacts @ $11.10

Thanks Drop!

DebtConsolidationLoans -> my guestimate $10k.

Interesting to see if you're right Your Pigginess. :)

Current registrant has let a few drop lately. He still works for IBM.

And of course can't wait to be subjected with alternative domains from Mr Littlewood.

I thought the registrant name looked familiar.

I don't know why Phil doesn't do a weekly list of domains he'd like to sell or has had interest in.

Maybe some fussy old buggr has already purchased all the good ones? :D

Thanks Ned. Unfortunately Drop didn't win 'em both for me. But very pleased they won the singular, as I didn't have time to snipe my fixed bid on netfleet for that one. lol :D
Both went for lower than I expected.

Good timing as I just sold another domain for $16k. :p

My guestimate was still the closest so I guess I win ;-)

I don't think quoting the Drop price is relevant as it's just used to tease out other peoples top price so they can add a margin with their final bid at NF. I mean that's what we all do right?

Yep nice defensive purchases, well done.

I was your underbidder on Drop on both of them, so well done Oz.

And you are lucky Drop got the singular - my bid on NF was "winning losing bid" - if you get my drift. ;)

Spin it which ever way you want to Your Pigginess.

If you're interested, I have spindoctors.com.au. :D

If you start caring too much Tim - that is when you overbid for sure.

Thats why I can't go to real estate auctions anymore - I get caught up in the excitement!

Congrats on the purchases Martin, I tried to buy that domain for $10k of the previous owner years ago and he knocked me back.

His answer was it earns me revenue just parked.

I thought about bidding higher than your bid, but decided to bid low.

Great purchase at the price you paid.
