I was just looking at the new dropping tool https://www.dntrade.com.au/drops.php and just wondered how much do you think a domain like this is worth shoetopia.com.au ?

There are some other shoe names in the list too. Shoes names seem pretty popular. It is not my niche, but I have thought about it. Who else is in the shoe names?

Or do you think shoetopia.com.au is just another $20 name?

i had a shoes store client in 2003 in a country town, 50K population @ 90K draw.

he wanted to sell sport shoes online and i advised him it wasn't a good idea as he may get many returns.

we worked through it and in the end @ 6 months later we built a website that was mostly designed to gather an email database, eg : people interested in nike shoes, addidas etc

we were then able to target the database to alert the members to the latest styles and it worked well.

YES, this is so old hat i know but it still works.

i don't think shoetopoia is a goer, it would take MONEYYYYY to make it happen, my guy already had a local brand and local traditional advertising in place and thats why it worked.

shoes only i personally think are one of the hardest things to do.

i agree in 2013, but 10 years ago people were not buying shoes online, i presently have a client that sells heaps of wedding shoes online.
