very nice name.. looks like it was grabbed by a smart forum member today at the domain drop auctions. Good luck with it. I stopped bidding at $5k due to spending a lot of $$$ over recent weeks on others bought direct from their owners :)

Still lots of nice .com.au names around if you contact owners direct and can make a deal work.

Funny enough I emailed the old owner of scaffolding.com.au a few months back to see if it was for sale but never got any responses..probably why it dropped as their emails not working or they dont work there any longer.

That could be made into a very serious business. Scaffolding is big dollars and big business in Australia. would be great to see more generic names like this get developed big time and turn into listed companies. The name says it all

Maybe contact Boral :)

Quality name. Needs to be in the right hands to make work. Would sit and wait if I owned it.

No chance of that, the name need to be in the hands of of an Australia wide company currently in the industry. A few thousand searches a month does not make a basis for a listed company, it is an extra domain for such company, not the center of a business.

please explain

Hi Snoopy.

Do you really think scaffolding.com.au could not be made into a successful business by a domainer? It gets 3,600 exacts.

No chance of that, the name need to be in the hands of of an Australia wide company currently in the industry. A few thousand searches a month does not make a basis for a listed company, it is an extra domain for such company, not the center of a business.

I would have thought a nice referral (selling leads) business could be made out of it. I guess the term scaffolding is a bit of an industry term. <--- Is this the primary reason why you feel it needs "to be in the hands of of an Australia wide company currently in the industry" ?

A bit more of an explanation why you think it would be unsuccessful would be most appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Alex
