Thought these massive names deserve a thread of their own for discussion.

Stats are phenomenal:

Car Insurance - 63,000 Exacts, $38 CPC
Home Insurance - 14,000 Exacts, $30 CPC
Boat Insurance - 3,300 Exacts, $14 CPC
CheapCarInsurance.net.au - 5,300 Exacts, $32 CPC

Obviously all net.au's and, despite the general feeling that net.au's have lost some of their lustre, i think we could be in for a record.

CarInsurance.com.au as well all know (except snoopy) sold for $250K earlier this year. Will this domain meet the 1/10th of a .com.au rule?

One to beat is creditcards.net.au at $22K - I personally think it's a lot better name.

My guesses:

CarInsurance.net.au - $23K
HomeInsurance.net.au - $7K
BoatInsurance.net.au - $8K
CheapCarInsurance.net.au - $6K

Why would you sell? Open for discussion

I'm just trying to work out the justification of these .net.au sales and if we will see big prices??????

I did a quick whois yesterday for Car Insurance .net.au and the owner is 1 Cover expires on the 29th Nov 2012.

And the same for Home insurance .net.au

So if I have this right 1 Cover, an insurance company provider who's core business is Travel Insurance underwritten by Allianz is selling 2 other insurance related domains that they provide Allianz Insurance for as well.

These domains don't point anywhere and they aren't a small company as well

It doesn't stack up. What am I missing?
