Auda Profit and loss is interesting to read. Is it the Boards role to approve expenditure increases?

Travelling expenses $274,510
Salaries and wages $1,602,049
Rent $112,608 in 2012 $59,468 in 2011 95% increase
AGM AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS $172,254 in 2012 $89,165 in 2011 !! 95% increase
Holiday Pay and Long Service leave $97,344 in 2012 $56,058 in 2011 90% increase
accountancy $120,000 in 2012 $99,600 in 2011 20% increase
Entertainment ( of who?) $25,918 in 2012 $17,154 in 2011 50% increase

Cant see how the AGM and committee meetings cost so much? the AGM was a very rushed affair when it came to questions and other business. Neddy you are right in feeling that! It almost felt like questions where not welcomed and when they where asked the answers where lacking in substance or clarity often.

will also be great to see the westlake report recommendations implemented fully asap by auda http://www.auda.org.au/pdf/wcl-board-response.pdf. They have done an awesome job already getting most of it done so congrats to auda and the Board on that success to date

Congrats Erhan and Stuart. Very happy for you both. I know you both will have all our interests in mind. Especially Erhan, who has helped me a great deal with domaining and other areas of the law, I wish you all the success and a happy stint on the board of auDA. Full steam ahead!
