Unfortunately I had a ticker scare early Thursday morning on Magnetic Island, and got transported to hospital in Townsville by ferry then road.
Got discharged last night. Quite an experience. But first class treatment.

I've still got my tickets, so be warned - I'll be down sometime soon.

cameron and i ended up at the casino at @ 1am and then he disappeared?
I ended up staying till 4am as once again as i missed the trains home and had to wait for the first train in the morning

It was a great afternoon and evening. Thanks to everyone who attended, and thanks to Andrew (drop.com.au) and Erhan (Cooper Mills) for putting on much of the entertainment.

I would have kicked on, but my inebriated wife sent me an SOS from the Valley and needed rescuing!

It was great to speak with a bunch of different people and learn a few little tips. Being someone who has no other mates interested in domaining, it's great to be able to speak with people who understand what I'm going on about!

Hopefully we can make these events more regular in Brisbane. I think there's room for one or two per year.

Thanks again to everyone who attended, and of course to Andrew and Erhan.

I'm also unlikely to make it there before 2pm and I will also have to head off reasonably early as I have a flight to catch to Sydney that afternoon, but I'll still pop in for a hour or so.

Sorry about the quick entry and exit last Friday. It was great to see a lot of you again, and to meet a few more faces.

I look forward to being able to hang around for longer at the next catch up, which I'm hoping won't be too far into the future.

My pleasure guys, I'm glad everyone had fun. I was really disappointed at not being able to make it this time, but next time we will have to head up en masse from Melbourne.

David I think you are right, Sydney is due for the next drinks night!
