Just thought I would run this domain through the forum. No metrics on the domain but thought it might be worth while developing into a typical hotel, flight, car hire type business.

I think the domain travelstart.com.au looks better than it sounds.

No better than lot of other random combo's that would be available for reg fee.

If a name has no metrics then the only saving grace is going to be true rarity/collectors appeal and this doesn't have that, worthless I'm afraid.

i'm with snoopy, there are still soooooo many good unregistered 2 word combos out there that if you are going to register it be prepared to spend money on development and rankings

Yep it is a semi-random combination of words and has no value but I think all non-generic (hyphens rule!!) domains have no value to start with.

the more and more i get into this "domaining" the more and more the rules of "real estate" recure.

location location location, which converts to "rank rank rank" , "worst house best street" and from a commercial property ideal " can i rent it" ? eg heaps of people may look at it but does it convert to CASH ?

Here is the issue, we are all domainers or at least people with a very keen interest in domains, hoping to to choose the best name possible, so given that I'd say it is a bad choice because the area where there should be an advantage (domain choice) isn't there.

In my view it would be like a web designer starting a site and getting the design all wrong, the rest of the project doesn't have a lot of hope in my view if element the persons a fair bit about isn't right. This might be an ok choice of someone who knows little about domains and lots about something else, but for domainers...unforgivable.
