Had this one in the stables but have too much on my plate to get around to developing it.

I was wondering if some people with more experience than me could give their thoughts on a value for this domain?

Exact local monthly searches: 6,600

I think that's a great name aus11. Couldn't put a value on it for you but it has a good ring to it.

awesome name for a freelancer site gig site or job listing site

I would be contacting RTO companies to put a feeler out for value

It's an ok domain.

In my opinion I dont see it being any more than $200-$300 in value.

Job portals are extremely competitive. Seek having the majority of the market share. And everyone else pretty much struggles.

What you can probably do is create a resource site instead of a job board.
Something about how to write resumes. Interview techniques. Information on existing portals/where to find jobs. Something thats targeted towards people who are looking for part time jobs. And monetizing it that way.

I have to agree with these comments Tom.

On the face of it, it's a really nice domain. But I have quite a few "job" domains (and they are all .com.au), and I just can't compete.

Having said that, it could be a good portal for school kids looking for a job after school - or something like that.

Given it is a .net.au, I would put an absolute max of $500 on it to a reseller; possibly 2 to 3 times that if you found an enduser.

Cheers, Ned

The portal for school kids/entry level type jobs is exactly what I had planned for this domain when I picked it up.

Thanks for the appraisal Ned, I was hoping for something around that level from a reseller (not interested in searching out an end user), so I might actually pop this domain into the Domains section of the marketplace and see if anyone is interested.
