I LOVEEEEE coastlines and Tasmania is just one big coastline, I've only been down there once but just loved it and want to go back ASAP.
Also open to any suggestions for development beyond my current concept.
vandiemensland ( VDL ) as a website I see it to be more a historical but very personal site, meaning I think Hobart DCA would be pure bookings type site where yours would be an emotional attachment THEN bookings which will mean a lot of content.
looking at this:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/24/Van_Diemen's_Land_1852.jpg really got me how amazing VDL is and was, I know when we went to Tassie we just drove and drove for a week trying to get it all in but its not possible, shortly after friends of ours went and spent 6 weeks and still didn't feel they spent enough time there.
that's where your concept is I think, entice visitors to unique parts of Tasmania and also sell off the common entry points to make money.
as for the name I give it no value undeveloped, sorry, could be boutique in nature and go for that kind of tourist.
