...Don't go crazy registering so many names like these. ....
I disagree actually. I think these are some really well chosen hand reg domains. I think if you grab a few like these day in day out, in a few months you'll have a solid portfolio - so go crazy!
Remember a domain doesn't have to be good enough to justify development to be worth registering - there is an inbetween area. And if domain values continue to grow, in a year or two they may then become worthwhile to develop.
The vast majority of our 3000+ au domains are undeveloped and deliver a healthy return through parking and sales.
But make sure you do park them all and, as Andrew always says, make sure they have a 'This domain may be for sale' on them.
Frustrates me why so many Australian domainers don't monetise their sites. I know a few cents here or there doesn't sound like much but it may only take 2-3 lousy clicks a month to make a domain cash positive. 1 lousy click and your effective registration fee drops to $10/2 years.
Also it protects you from breaching auDA policy. Registering domains and doing nothing with them is against the rules. Parking them is legitimate (albeit with a few extra discriminatory conditions)
