I've been approached to buy a .net domain that is a bargain if it's all true.

I've paid the $ to escrow just today and as the domain is at GoDaddy will have it moved to my account before releasing the $

Am I missing anything before I release $

Well it all went smoothly for a newby. I managed to get badcreditloans.net for a couple of thousand US which I thought was a good price.

The thing about Escrow is they usually hold the money, so basically if you transfer the domain it should be all sweet it just means they are protecting the $$$.

I have done a few deals with Escrow over the years the only thing that has gone wrong is when some one takes ages to actually "transfer the goods" I sold a decent site on Flippa and some one said they needed to sell their "shares" before they could make the transfer so it took 15 days to complete.

Well BadCreditLoans.org sold for $4,000 a few years ago so if you closed the deal for cheaper then that it would be worth it in my eyes.

It is true about it taking some time, even if there are no holdups the process can still take several days to complete.

just look out for some of the pitfalls, like USD transfers, and delays!

We provide escrow services typically for $x,xxx and above transactions.

Many DnTrade members use us for these types of deals. As a vendor it works well dealing with a law firm - it gives the buyer more confidence.
