UK.MK - real 2 letter short UK related domain

Hi,

I have regged UK.MK

Do You think this domain was a good choice? Was not so simple to get it. Could be a nice shortener or alternative for .UK.

MK is an acronym for the "make" command in UNIX like computers (Mac, Linux).

If you just recently registered it then it's probably worth what you've registered it for. Can't see any appeal yet

First time I have ever heard of .mk, so doubt it has any value to be honest people would just use the .UK TLD which is also out right?

sucks, as they all say ........ if you have to explain it...... it sucks

i can not recall a domain like this working? the closest thing i can think of is FCUK.com and .co.uk, + throw a few million behind branding it.

you just wasted your money IMO

did FCUK pick up FC.UK ? as its a blank page

Where did You check it? This domain is regged since 2008.

Btw. just found out that "MK" is an acronym for "market" too. UK.MK Could have great business relevance. Think I double the price Also notice the beauty of the domain: UK.MK - classical. Very easy to remember - will be even more when I make a logo helping associate the "K" stronger by using the same color.

Hi, I suppose contacting people who might have a copyright on the acronym in a branch could be a quite dangerous and expensive thing - considered cybersquatting?

I eventually could run a service like "UK markets news" on this domain, but don't have much time to build.

There would be many companies where the letters MK are used or Uk, explore your possibilities, no one is going to come to you to buy this name so you have to do the work, trademarkia.com is a good to check for trademarks
