What's new

The Recent Registrations Thread

picked up Perugia.com.au just yesterday, a fair sized city in Italy, popular with tourists for its new town built over the old Etrsucan city. Elevators take you through the different levels, quite very interesting it is.

Will develop it into a tourism website aiming to sell hotel accomodation, car hire, etc.

ReallyTasty.com.au

ReallyTasty.com.au ... pretty good generic domain ... mostly brand positioning.
can see potential for a new yogurt, cheese, etc

Reg'd finance related keyword .net.au's a while ago. Pretty awesome ones I reckon.

one of the them was a verb:

the rest were stock market related, but not as generic.

I registered these a week or so ago and was surprised they were still available, all touristy spots :D

theolgas.com.au
tunnelcreek.com.au
otwayranges.com.au
undaralavatubes.com.au
geikiegorge.com.au
winjanagorge.com.au
daintreenationalpark.com
karijininationalpark.com.au

Don

Can't believe you got Daintree National Park .com - that's the pick of them for me.

Nice work Don.

Registered UnderTheRadar.com.au and StrategicThinking.com.au

There seems to be still opportunities out there... as Don demonstrated today.

I've also picked up the following:

  • UnderTheRadar.com.au - Very brandable
  • StrategicThinking.com.au - business/ consulting - actually has a domain age of 6 years!

Reg'd FishingLine.net.au gonna throw up an affiliate minisite.

Fishermen are big time into buying their tackle online.

rig.net.au
boot.net.au
processor.net.au
dude.net.au
in-focus.net.au
holographic.net.au
prose.net.au
query.net.au
myth.net.au
social.net.nz
lense.com.au
zwk.com.au (kid's initials)
zephaniah.com.au (kid's First Name)

If you do this, make sure you use a different AdSense account aswell!
I know it is a while since the original Post.
BUT this is NOT GOOD ADVICE.
Adsense only allows 2 accounts MAX per person (1 business, 1 Private)
and only if specifically requested.

1 thing I have noticed in the short time I have been member here, is the amount of mis-information and lack of awareness about Google policy that is oft-repeated as gospel.

Jumping on the 3D-Bandwagon... so registered:

3DSports.com.au
3DSport.com.au
3DChannel.com.au

Still a bit skeptial... like i'm wasting $63 ... but hopefully it's worth the gamble.

Still proudly holding ZERO .au :o

I can`t see anything great about ".net.au"

Please prove I`m wrong, thanks.

It's not as good as .com.au just like .net isn't as good as .com.

Doesn't mean they are worthless, obviously they are good for keyword domains/SEO, but not as marketable as you will lose typins to the .com.au.
