Congratulations to all you queenslanders. Some poor decisions, but you deserved it, and good to see Darren Lockyer go like that.

SHANE HAYNE SHOULD F**K OFF! DROPPING THE BALL IS NOT A STRIP!

It was a good match though honestly, the refs looked like they had been bribed. That ain't cool. Make some good calls for a change. Not only were the calls crucial (led to 2 Queenlsand tries) but they were obviously not penalties. Oh, and then when Queensland is told they're held and then offloads and then the ball gets passed back. What is that?!!!! That's what you do when you play school yard footy not origin.

Queensland and NSW played well. I don't know if Queensland deserved to win though it was very close but the refs sure need to learn the rules again. I could have ref'd better than them tonight and I don't even know every rule. Come one refs let the boys play and stop making stupid calls.

<!--End Rant-->

I am happy that Lockyer went off in style as I honestly respect him a lot as a player.

That held call/play the ball was PATHETIC, RIDICULOUS and EMBARASSING for the referees. Honestly, they had no control over the game. It should have been penalty for offloading after held was called. BUT NO!

And agree 100% in regards to Lockyer,

For all you NSW bleaters, this is the headline on Fox Sports:

"Johnathan Thurston injured as Queensland mark Darren Lockyer's farewell with crushing win over NSW"

http://www.foxsports.com.au/league/...ing-win-over-nsw/story-fn31yxah-1226089295128

And your own Sydney Morning Herald:

"Marvellous Maroons expose gulf in class"

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/...g-to-the-best-20110706-1h2sp.html?from=age_ft

You can moan all you like about refs, but the fact is QLD were a better side.

And the scoreboard agrees.

This is how I see it. Score was 34 to 24 (I think or thereabouts). Two tries of Qld's were the result of bad ref calls. Which means the scores would have been level and either side could have won.

LOL

Yeah Queensland!

Ref were very mediocre, I agree. That said to say that NSW would have won with one or two better calls going their way is just delusional.

The best you could claim would be that "you had a better CHANCE of winning" but I'd back if the game was closer QLD would have also played better. It's was hard for them to maintain their intensity when they were leading by so much most of the game.

haha boys - the ref's deemed it simultaneous which = play the ball. Didn't know the rule myself.

Can't say I saw any dubious calls though all game, just a typical blues side too busy trying to slow the play the ball rather than getting back in the line lol!

I'll bet on 7-0 :D
