Do many domainers/companies out there acquire portfolios of domains?

I have around 300 hundred domains that I'd part with if I could sell in bulk.

Alternatively, given the absence of an AMA, does anyone have any advice on exiting an investment in domain portfolio?

I assume Flippa is not a realistic option?

I don't think there is a much of a market for this in recent years. 300 names is possibly too small to show much sales history which is what most buyers would be inserested in, unless of course the names are clearly of high quality.

Chris, I reckon you are better off cherry picking the right end user buyers for your better domains rather than trying to wholesale the lot to a domainer, who will pay you very little.

I wouldn't be looking to buy a portfolio, but you're most welcome to send me your list and I'll let you know if there are domains I would be happy to buy at a wholesale rate.

i bought a small portfolio once and the first thing i did was cherry pick it, your folio is really only as good as the best ones.

Thanks to those who have requested to review the portfolio thus far.

As I've mentioned to those who have asked, the reason why I'm interested in selling the domains in bulk is basically because I'm trying to raise as much capital as possible for a new business that I'll hopefully be starting in a couple of months with two business partners.

The new business is quite capital intensive and the more capital I can inject upfront the better chance it gives the business and will also increase the equity stake I'll obtain in the new business.

So for the next month or two, cash is more valuable to me than waiting for an end user to pay a retail value for a domain.

So I'm quite negotiable with trying to find some middle ground for those domainers or developers looking to accumulate some decent domains for their own portfolios. I'll be particularly negotiable for bulk purchases.
