No it's not a trial. It's 12 months free. Enter the code into the cart and get $120 off. Worked for me.

Normally you get a full functioning trial for 30 days then they charge you. Only this time they will charge you $0.

Just got the first invoice.

It's worth paying for I think. I've gotten a lot of use out of it thanks to a very unstable VPS
