Sign the petition against the Greedy government push for more costs on Postage

Talke about biting the hand that feeds it!

Australia Post stays alive due to the increase in online businesses now shipping goods via them.

A 30% increase in costs to the consumer is a massive grab for money from a failing enterprise and money wasting federal Government.

Yes if you opeerate online or buy online this will probably affect you

Greedy Greedy government is trying every way possible to raise taxes. Maybe it's time they shed some of their own costs

Wouldn't say signing a partition is going to do anything, they'll keep ramping up their pricing for a long time. It is run by ex bank people now. The organisation is far from "failing" as well.

Probably they need to ditch the letter service and just focus on parcels or perhaps just offer letters in very built up areas, maybe ramp the cost of a stamp up to $2-$3. Tt should not be getting subsidised by the parcel side of the business.

$$$$$.

It's a known fact it was "failing" and nearly bankrupt requiring a lot of government funds before ecommerce hit australia 15 years ago which helped it grow and prosper.

16 years ago some at Aus post even had the stupidity to see if the Government could charge for "email" in Australia as email was making Auspost lose sales of stamps. No joke!

I guess Westpac Bank is failing as well because it was near insolvent in 1992. Lets keep it real.

Australia and most other countries are technically bankrupt - both financially and morally!
