Parked Domain CTR?

Hi

Am wondering what % CTR everyone is getting on average over the last 30 days?

CTR% = Clicks / Visitors x 100

12.7% is my stat.

.au only. Just trying to benchmark my domains.

i think it depends on the amount of ads you have on the page

Just to emphasise: These are *parked* domains, no dev (yet).

So findtim, I think you're stats reflect developed domains?

well i think everyone knows i don't like parked domains.

i go for lower CTR higher yield , i prefer affiliates over MFA's

Depends entirely on the quality of the traffic. 50%-100% is typical for keyword domains. Under that & the traffic is likely not natural type in traffic. ie bots, typos, old links, it is disinterested people (& robots).

I get anything from 0-100% for individual keyword .com.au/net.au (100% coming from 1 visit a month domains)

To clarify: when I wrote 'average' I was trying to refer to the average across the whole portfolio of domains.

The small number of popular keyword .com.au that I own are in that area, I would say the ctr's are little different to popular keyword .com's.

lostsuper.com.au 58.11% (sold a while back)

I have over 500 AU domains parked with fabulous getting about a 8.85% CTR.

Who are your domains parked with?

The thing is with the names with almost no traffic (eg a few visits a month), it is going to be mainly bot traffic. All names get some degree of that but a low traffic name is going to be mainly that.

If it is a popular keyword name the CTR should be very high if it were real traffic. That is different to typos, which tend to average around 20% or random names with junk traffic like 2/3 letter etc which I think are typically around 30% ctr.

yeah, the quality of traffic is important and of course how well the pages are optimized. Happy to take a few hits on behalf of the parking companies tonight : )
