NetFleet question for daily auctions

I thought I'd post here asking the question so others who may have experienced the same can see the answer.

I bid on a few domains this morning, and then left for the day only just returning - 3 hours after the auction finished. Am I to assume that if I didn't get an email saying I was the winner that I wasn't? I didn't get an email saying I was outbid so I'm just a little confused  (happens easily).

Is there a listing within the members section to see what bids you placed on the snapper auctions?

Thanks Honan, a simple and quick way to check. Turns out I was the highest bidder on 1 of the 2 domains I bid on. Why I wasn't notified (and I assume billed) is interesting.

They don't invoice on weekends, should get it tomorrow.

Fair enough. I thought it was automated - I guess the main part is (the rego) so all good.

Something I would like NF to consider doing as adding a "recently added" section to the after market section.

It would be a great little tool so those "gems" don't get buried within the 30 odd thousand names the site promotes.

Hi Nova,

We don't send 'outbid emails' within 30 secs or so (not sure precisely how long tbh) of the auction ending. Theory is that it's too late to do anything by then unless you're already on and logged in - and in that case you'd notice it.

Maybe something David and Mark could add to the development list. :D

Luke, Nova & others - yes we do need to work on this - thanks for the suggestions. Some sort of interface where you can see at a glance what you've won, what you've lost (and by how much) and other data. In fact if you want to specify exactly what you want to see, let me know...

Thanks for this.

Clearly it needs to be displayed more prominently.

We used to have it on the homepage but the competition for prime real estate pushed it out. We sort of figured that hidden from the homepage might give a little advantage to the regulars rather than casual browsers too which is no bad thing.

Like how Don snapped up WirelessBroadband.com.au :)
