I've got some pretty good 1 and 2 word generic .net.au names available for sale - about 8 in total. 
Some of these are mine; and some I'm selling on behalf of a friend.
One example is MountainBike.net.au. This has 12,100 exacts @ $1.00. This currently does quite well with an eBay feed.
As a matter of interest, I approached the owner of the .com.au over the weekend to see if they were interested in selling,
and this is the verbatim response I got! :
So here's your chance to get "the poor relation" for a fraction of the price. Given that the .com.au doesn't even resolve,
it should be easy to get it ranking!
