I did an assignment with a mate for IPT that we turned in on Thursday. Here it is. The web design was done by me (using html/css code) and all javascript (lightboxes etc) were downloaded plugins.
The pages to look at to see the different layouts are: index, products, tutorials and then one of the actual tutorials pages (Eg. iTunes etc)
What are your thoughts on the site? Ignore the content, it doesn't really matter. More just how it looks, what you would do differently etc. I was trying to do this assignment as if I was designing a site as opposed to trying to meet the marking criteria. Also, I did it so that I could argue with the teacher about how downloading a theme and chucking it into Dreamweaver is not web development. (The whole class except me did that. Not their fault just the teacher's fault for not teaching us anything).
Anyway, I'm getting carried away. I'm just wanting to here your thoughts on the website, what you think is good, what's bad, what could be done differently. What does not meet standards. Anything and everything. Also, I know the tooltip does not function as intended at least in IE8 and probably earlier versions. I ran out of time for that.
Also, be honest. If you think it's crap say that, though be constructive. Tell me what's crap and why, not just "I hate the whole site, you will fail in life" haha

P.S. I'm cross posting this on VentraIP and DNTrade as I want to see the perspectives from those who are aimed at SEO etc as opposed to web design and what not. Also, I will be removing the photo booth videos as they had my partner's face in them and it's not right to put them up.
