graphy/com/au

I registered this because I thought it lends itself pretty well to subdomains like, photo.graphy.com.au, typo.graphy.com.au, bio.graphy.com.au, and even though it is quite unconventional I think they could still pass the radio test... "photo dot graphy dot com dot au"... (OK, sounds quite awkward).

Just wondering if the search engines would read it as one word, i.e. photography?

Probably more of a brandable... interested to hear your thoughts on this domain?

Thanks.

Ash.

No, Google will not credit a dot between the word as a exact match domain. Google does not even favor sub domains they only advise people to use them as a separate domain if their main TLD has been banned from what I have seen. Sure Yahoo/Bing may be different.

From a nerd POV, I really like the idea but from a practical one, it just wouldn't work. I like your thinking though!

Its funny today at work people were talking about combinations that go with the .me domain name haha some funny ones were thought up but the negative thing was they were all taken...

Thanks for the input guys. I registered another domain with similar intentions - but I'll develop it before I go sharing what it is.

I have a few .me domains on my maybe list. Decent CPC but not sure about the extension -do you have any favourable experiences with developing .me's or are they too difficult to rank? In some cases every other mainstream tld is taken except the .me.

Cheers.

Thanks for your input snoopy. It doesn't cost me anything to develop but my time so I may still give it a go - if it doesn't work I'll chalk it up to experience.
