Anyway, this thread has been well and truely hijacked now -- $30 an hour is a steal for a local designer, so give why not give webfunk a go!

Good point FPR! Give Webfunk a go at this rate and see how he goes.

And guys, imho, some of the points FPR raised earlier are very valid. All I will say is that in cricket parlance,
I know FPR has the "runs on the board". You can learn a lot from him.

I guess Ive got a couple of runs on the board aswell + 11 years in the industry including 7 as a teacher on the subject.

A designer who focuses on the bottom line ain't a true designer ... were just not wired that way

I guess thats why designers aren't among the rich and famous.

But certainly Webfunk, have a go at it and may the force be with you ... the creative force that is, and turn away from the darkside ... those that think money is the bottom line.
