Interesting new site Anthony. Much better design than the previous Drop site, but still has some way to go to being mobile friendly - this would be a great improvement to focus on the User Experience, especially on mobile.
I had to rush this one a little bit while juggling a registry migration too. Once things calm down I do plan to fix the mobile experience. Thanks for the feedback and please bear with us in the interim. If anything is not functioning at all on mobile please let me know as I will address those as a priority.

Understandable Anthony, must be a very hectic time with this big registrar change. The biggest issue for me is around usability on mobile - the page not being optimised for mobile means you have to scroll across to see data and make a bid - especially as auction time ticks to final minutes/seconds, this reduces your ability to take quick actions like increasing your bid. Although I understand this might change anyway with your new bidding format. Thanks - Luke

Sorry for cross posting as there is a new thread on this, but just a heads up that drops are starting Saturday 14th July 2018.

215 Domains caught at Drop today. Some awesome names that were picked up for $25...
I'm confuzzed.... o_O
There seems to be a number of domains with a Last Modified date of yesterday or today (14th or 15th) and listed registrar is Drop.com.au. But I couldn't see them on Drop.com.au's list yesterday.
... and now they appear on Netfleet's list for today?!

Surprised to see Netfleet lost all the domains that were bid through them. Does this mean they were won on Drop? Given NF usually has such a higher success rate of catching maybe the new bidding format from Drop is working.

The lists at Drop were split into group days, so you had to search for them in each respective list. I know not ideal as took a bit longer to find specifi domains. But the list was just too big to load with the current system that we are working on fixing right now.

The good news is that 215 out of 216 domains were caught by Drop. So those that you see with the Drop details already dropped and were already caught yesterday.

Unfortunately the drop lists provided by afilias are not in the same format as they used to be so our and NF systems take a bit more work to fix and re-align.

when do we know if we have successfully acquired a domain?
Are we working on a system without cut off times - I cant see a clock counting down?
Are we simply bidding for 15 days?
where can i see the names previously caught?

O Man...

Yes Drop won them.

There is a cut of time, get your bids in before 12:50 or there abouts, drops are at 1pm

You can place bids in early, days in advance now.

Names previously caught for others are currently not showing, this is still being worked on. You can only see names that we caught for you and if you were the highest bidder.

We are getting better at working out what is dropping on a daily basis so we have started publishing the Drop Date.
We have also added an "Export List" button so you can download all the domains on our list with our calculated Drop Date.
We are now operating with two closing times, one for pendingDelete (PD) and another for Expired domains.
Orders for PD need to be in by 12:57 (3 minutes before first drop time)
Orders for Expired domains need to be in by 13:27 (3 minutes before second drop)
There are still some anomalies which we are working on with the Registry Operator, for example if a domain is Expired and also Pending Delete which date takes preference.

On the development list for the next week is to publish our results, to sort our list and to re-introduce the drop statistics.
