Commission Monster T&C changes

i suppose anyone involved with them has received the email of the changes.

Does anyone know if this will also mean that we get access to DGM or do we signup separetely?

i'm thinking its going to be a pain if they keep moving things around, the could be a chance they say "this link doesn't track commissions anymore" thus creating alot of work AND then do it again in 6 months time as they make gradual steps to move everything towards DGM.

I'm thinking do the pain now and move to DGM, at least that way i only have to do it once.

any thoughts?

As far as I'm aware CM is still running in its current form for the time being and if you do join DGM you might not get access to the CM campaigns that you're currently running. (happy to be proven wrong here).

I'd say stay with CM until they migrate across and then spend a day updating links. Or join DGM and see what campaigns you can start promoting there.

thanks, i was thinking if the same programs are with DGM then it would be worth converting them "in my time frame" now, thus leaving only a few straglers when it all gets changed

Oh yeah of course. Maybe ask CM what the timeline is for transfers and if there are any CM campaigns on DGM now.

I *really* hope this doesn't mean that CM will start to provide the same standard of service that DGM currently offer their affiliates.

DGM are planning to close down the CM platform and migrate all the campaigns and affiliates over to DGM in the next 6 months. No idea how long this is going to take as it will be a big task of dropping new DGM tracking pixels on every campaign and getting publishers to switch links. It’s going to be a slow process and I wish them the best of luck :)

I thought they had already closed the other ? I received an email over a month ago telling me to go to the new site and get new code

i rang dgm @ 2 weeks ago and they answered the phone ! yippee, then they said they would call me back and they did , wow

anyway bottom line is everyone should start heading over to dgm as they couldn't give me a date but said CM is going.

i also had an issue signing up as they ask you what your website is and i prefeer my accounts to be in the business name but if you go to my website there is nothing there, so i explained that to a real person on the phone and she sorted it for me no problems.

all in all good service, definately improved since the first time i phoned a few years ago and thats why i chose CM back then.

Hi All,

Just wanted to share some insights here to answer the questions which have been raised above on the business’s plans following dgm’s acquisition of Viva9 in September-2012. As many of you know dgm recently launched a new tracking platform ‘dgmPerformance’. Our new platform is significantly more advanced than the HasOffers platform for sales based campaigns and as such we will eventually be moving campaigns on HasOffers across to dgmPerformance. We definitely don’t underestimate the work this requires for our publishers; this will be a slow process and we will be working very closely with our publishers to ensure the migration goes very smoothly.

For the time being I’d like to confirm for both networks it is business as normal so if you have any questions or are having any problems please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at affiliatesupport@dgm-au.com or offers@vivanine.com.

In addition, if you aren't currently joined to the dgm Network and are interested in promoting any of the campaigns on the dgmPerformance platform please contact us and we’d be happy to help you get set up on the network.

@Tim – In regards to your above comment, I’d be happy to investigate this for you so please contact us affiliatesupport@dgm-au.com.

I hope this answers all of the concerns raised above however, if there are any further questions on this please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
Melody Bennetts
