Better luck selling it as an acronym (Canberra Dental Services?) than CD's as the CD format is long dead.

Value? Who knows. I wouldn't rate the .com.au that highly let alone the .net.au version.

I first thought of it as an acronym and didn't even realise it might be for CDs. Not much value in acronym .nets imo as most brands would value the .com.au way more

Agree with others - value is in acronym rather than CD's.

I happen to work with a company called Complete Dealer Solutions - they use cdsonline.com.au. I would suggest that cds.net.au would be a slight improvement.

Selling to a company like that would be your best bet. Draw up a shortlist, call/email and pop it to a no reserve auction.

Little value, very hard to sell anything with the term in it in my view and people will be factoring in the term being unused in the future. Reminds me a bit of cd.com, sold at auction for 277k in 2006 and a couple of years later I think it didn't even get interest at 100k at auction.
