I would also like to add I was in a very small minority, maybe by myself but I'm not totally sure, pushing this line during the recent Names Policy Panel.
It also comes back to my views on many of the submissions during the consultation period and opinions of panellists themselves is that the views on many of the issues I supported are unsupportable when examining international experiences.
And comparing a ccTLD with a gTLD is like comparing apples with oranges.
