auDA has just released its draft framework on Accountability and Transparency.
They are calling for comments on the draft document by 31 July 2012.
The issues contained in this document are of importance to all of us on the forum, and I encourage everyone to get a submission in, even if it is a short email.
I wanted to bring to your attention a couple of submissions that were made in regard to the Draft Accountability and Transparency Framework, July 2012.
These were made by Simon Johnson and Erhan Karabardak.
They don't take long to read - and I urge everyone on here to read them. They raise some really important issues for domainers and domain owners to think about.
I sincerely congratulate and thank Simon and Erhan for making the time to do a submission. Good on you guys.
It is important that everyone on this forum get involved and have their say, people who oppose domaining are usually the ones who are the most vocal. There needs to be an informed and balanced debate about internet governance / domain name policy - this leads to better outcomes.
So become an auDA member and get involved, you can join policy panels and make submissions on important issues, most of which directly effect domain name businesses! If you are interested in joining auDA all the information you need is here.
