Automatically importing your bank account data and then using rules to assign where transactions should be allocated has saved me around 70% of my bookkeeping time.
It now saves me around 5 days a year of bookkeeping work. Although much is now done via a bookkeeper. So it saves her around 5 days a year and me by not paying for extra hours
To be fair it took me about 3-4 days of creating bank rules upfront to facilitate this level of automation.
