Looking at the DENIC member requirements:seems like a fair model, all profits made are re-distributed to members. There are fother benefits, so was just wondering if anyone has looked at their model in depth?
Any natural or legal person can become a member, if they
- Administer Internet domains under the Top Level Domain .de
- Are not affiliated with more than two other DENIC members, unless they are a member of an executive body (i.e. Executive Board or Supervisory Board); and
- Can prove long-term financial stability beyond serious doubt.
Are you proposing that auDA membership be limited to Supply Class? Is that really a fair model, for a resource for all of Australia?
