"If you live in Toronto and you are working to make sure .au works in Australia on weekends, you are part of the Australian internet community." #obviously [

This was the Chair of auDA justifying why 955 foreign employees of domain vendors qualify to be auDA demand class members.

Don't like your members, get new ones. Better yet outsource overseas.

The question is did auDA subsidise these new members with vouchers or rebates or promises?

How's the optics on that Mr Chairman?

"The proposition that there’s widespread member concern at the state of auDA – the company managing our Internet domain names – was dealt a definitive blow on Friday. Firstly, the vote at a special general meeting to decide the fate of three directors, including independent chair Chris Leptos, was lost. Secondly, voter turnout was extremely low, suggesting most members are at least satisfied that long needed reform is progressing. Thirdly, the disruptive behaviour of a dissident group, appropriately known as the Grumpies, reinforced the view that they and their cause have no merit." http://theluckygeneral.biz/2018/07/...empted-coup-at-auda-flounders-on-disinterest/

You are fooling yourself... but keep taking the paychecks to post here and on the other forums. We know this is your job so we all take nothing you say as being serious. Even the Media know who you are, why you are posting and who is feeding you disinformation and false propaganda from auDA, Afilias and several Supply parties.. Who seem to be Bc in you on information and emails but then you reply back to people and they see you have been Bc'd .. LOL.

It is disgraceful you are being paid by a foreign subcontractor monopoly to attack whistleblowers, Consumers and "real" experienced long time auDA members from very diverse backgrounds. What other industry has this occurring. It is a major issue for thew ACCC and Government investigators to start looking at.

auDA is a NOT FOR PROFIT not a company to be run by profiteers or "has been" political Liberal Party members sucking out $$$ from the not for profits funds.

The fact is the majority of voters at the SGM voted FOR the removal. You can B.S. pr spin that all you like which is your job to do.. we get it.

The use of paid PR Spindoctors to run a monopoly and bully Consumers is disgraceful.

The Government report list 29 points most of which are directly around the poor current management of the .au namespace by the auDA Staff and Board. I know this document very well as do some others.

auDA and their paid PR spin team are misquoting the Government and guess what the Government staff are waking up.

We all know the direct Liberal Party political connctions behind the scenes but the actual DoCA staff are not politicians they are legit public servants.

Ministers and their advisors come and go and this will be the same for this current Minister closely tied to the CEO, senior auDA staff, Paid PR Ian Hanke and others on the Board.

auDA current management think high priced pr spindoctors is "normal". This is why they are "Not Fit For Purpose" and will always be exposed.

Here is some bait for you to nibble on...

It is Time to end the PR Spin cycle...

"THE world would be a better place without spin doctors, said Sir Bernard Ingham, a supreme political propagandist.

Ingham, the chief press secretary to Margaret Thatcher when she was British PM, was a gifted exponent of what he called "the black arts of spin".

One of the founding fathers of spin may well be proud of how the industry has exploded within modern politics.

The Sunday Herald Sun today publishes a detailed analysis of the number of taxpayer-funded spin doctors operating within the federal, Victorian and other state governments.

On our analysis there are at least 3000 employed in Australia by governments and their agencies. And that is a conservative figure as it does not include contractors or consultants brought in for specific projects.

Our investigation shows about $250 million is spent employing this propaganda army whose main role is to attempt to control the message that voters hear. Political spin is just propaganda and manipulation by another name.

The Victorian departments of Health and Sustainability and Environment each have 92 spin doctors and the Department of Justice, 83. The Office of the Premier has 22 propagandists and Victoria Police has 72 people working on spin.

The Brumby Labor Government even has a Sydney PR consultant. Our analysis contains a conservative estimate of the numbers of spin doctors. There may be many more.

A most galling aspect is that spin doctors are often paid huge salaries out of the public purse. Spin doctoring in overdrive was in evidence during the federal election campaign, when both sides frustratingly refused to deviate from a simple tight script - an approach that was rightly condemned.

On the eve of the state election, we fear the campaign may follow a similar type of pattern. Little wonder Australian voters have become cynical. The millions of dollars wasted on spin doctors and marketing gurus could be better spent on upgrading police, health and education facilities.

Spin doctors manipulate the democratic process.

Rest assured the Sunday Herald Sun shall campaign vigorously to cut through the spin to give readers the facts.

We'd advise politicians to stop being obsessed with image. Get out and do something useful and your reputation will look after itself."

Dear Afilias, your paid troll is damaging your brand.

It may be the case some people at auDA, on the Board and in Supply are also assisting Mr. Patton with information....?

Mr Patton have you been provided any materials, propaganda to get out directly or indirectly by auDA or Board members or Supply parties ( exclude Afilias). Who is paying you? Do you even know who is behind the payments?

Connect the dots...

Who are the controlling spiders associated with the current auDA Management and current auDA Board who have made auDA the "Not For Profit" "Not Fit For Purpose" to manage the .au namespace?

They can PR Spin it all they like but the days of the current auDA Management, current Minister and some Board members are numbered. 2.7 million .au domain name Registrant Consumers will wake up..and unite for action.

Only by removing these spiders will auDA have any chance to become Fit For Purpose and get back to the basics and lower expenses.

They may laugh and cheer each other on backroom meetings they "won" yesterday ( They did cheer themselves and they did attack the majority of auDA members who voted for removal) but all it proved was the ACCC, Government, .au Domain Name Consumers and Whistleblowers need to really start investigating and exposing things far more.

auDA was going ok before the current "Not Fit For Purpose" Management.. sure it had problems on expenses , some bad red tape of policy but nothing that this current management has not made worse 100 x and at increasing expenses being wasted with No Accountability and Transparency.

These "Spiders" are costing the not for profit a fortune on wasted expenses.
