Where can I do TM searches? Business name isn't a TM and I would have thought that Australian Super would be too generic for a TM.

Yeah Australian Super will squash you like a fly with those.

Correct me if im wrong here. But I doubt they will/can do anything considering they are .net/.orgs.

Because .net/.org infrastructure is based in America right? If thats the case Australian TM restrictions dont apply. They will need an American based TM claim as well. Doubt they would have one considering this is an Australian based service.

@Smile, that's what I thought.

My Australian Trademarks cost me hundreds while my USA and UK International Trademarks cost me nearly $10k in total.

I wasn't really thinking of the company trademark when I registered them as I considered it GEO-SUPERANNUATION.

While I don't think there is much they can do, I'll just keep contact info on them up to date I guess and if I get a nasty letter then so be it. Personally I think its irresponsible not to secure all extensions and typos of your own trademarks.

I use the search 24/7
Always have search page running in a browser window

It has been Registered in Australia as a TRADEMARK which has nothing to do at all with any domains being registered anywhere in the world. Trademarks need to be registered with ipaustralia in Australia. Mere usage as domain or Business names does NOT give Australian trademark protection. Advice given on Namepros or dnForum tend to only give US based information.

i dont think because it's a .net or .org has anything to do it , .com is also a gtld , a trademark is a trademark regardless of the gtld as far as i can workout

Names have no fit at all with the extension, why would an Australian Superannuation co brand with .net or .org?

If they have money they can target any TLD, you are especially easy to target if you are located in Australia.
