Probably a good move.We hold a significant portfolio off <ll.net.au> and are looking to reduce that portfolio
These name are being offered at low "wholesale" prices in lot of 10+ per lot
If you are interest then send me a diirect message
Greg, I take my hat off to you if you're getting some good .net.au sales! I've not had much interest in the few that I've got (some of which are certainly premium terms).A few likes here but no real interest
"net.au" is definitely on the nose at the moment which is strange given that I still get a decent trickle of high xxx & low x,xxx sales
I actually like one of the domains that you've picked up but I know you only paid about $10 for it on the drops so maybe it just comes down to price. Many here already know what people have paid on the drops so they are a hard market although .net.au domains are certainly in the firing line with regards to direct registrations it would seem.Greg, I take my hat off to you if you're getting some good .net.au sales! Decent prices need end-users and the problem in Australia is the lack of a publicly recognisable "go to" AftermarketGreg, I take my hat off to you if you're getting some good .net.au sales! I've not had much interest in the few that I've got (some of which are certainly premium terms).
Two character domains are certainly a rarity though, so I'm surprised you've not had more interest in these.
It seems strange the misinformation promoting the need for a proposed competing.au extension also included it would be of benefit to .id users... Do they have rights to the proposed .au extension or do the rights to go to existing .com.au or existing.net.au owners of the equivalent name? There are many .id.au names registered which are generic words and not actual people's names.. Not what it was intended for but another loophole being used and seemingly not properly administered by auDA for policy delete."net.au" is definitely the poor cousin of "com.au", but does have fractional value
"id.au" does not even rate mention (and to be fair, is not intended for commercial use)
Keen observers of domain use will see that "net.au" is used extensively by 2nd tier local businesses (and not just in the tech space)
PS....I have only ever used my "id.au" for my "poor student" emails
