They are pretty much all around the wrong way. But even if they were around the right way who is going to buy them?

Nothing really grabs me with these ones Mick.

app.exchange or app.builders would be good, but the plural makes it sound odd.

I thought these would be good as a directory listing for apps based on the TLD.

apps.builder would be loaded with apps for the building industry etc.

I may have to build a landing site for each of these to show their potential.

Thanks for your feedback.

Who is going to buy them?

A usage could be thought up for nearly any freshly registered name, doesn't mean it is worth anything or should be developed.

I don't buy a domain based on who would buy them, I buy them based on what " if " i had the time, could they be turned into. That way if I feel I could turn it into a business, then somebody else who maybe has the time themselves would also see the benefit.

Now this is most likely not the reasons why you would buy a domain, but I'm not asking that question, I'm only asking for peoples opinion on what they think the valuation is, not who they think would buy it.

Maybe there should be another forum which asks the question, "What should i do with this domain"

The valuation is $0, because nobody is likely to buy these names. The "what should I do" answer is simply to let them expire.

The problem with your logic is buying something on the basis of "if I had the time". If you don't actually have the time then the logic is flawed. The chance of someone else seeing what you see and then being willing to buy the name on the aftermarket is very low. They'll just register something else.

1. Value = zilch. They're a sunk cost, so don't throw good money after bad - drop them at renewal time.
2. What should you do with them? Answer = nothing. Don't follow up wasted money with wasted time, you'll only be adding to your losses on this lot.

Excuse my ignorance, but can you advise what is the difference. Given I've also got apps.yt

.ly domains have some appeal on the aftermarket.

A few startups started off on .ly's like Bit.ly, but note that they eventually moved to a .com once they had funding. I love weird extensions and domain hacks more than the next person, but they're very risky investments. Don't look at top sales, look at what is selling today, tomorrow etc., you'll start to get a good feeling for things.

You're doing the right thing to get feedback :)
